Despite the new national lockdown measures set to begin on November 5th, our store will remain OPEN for Click and Collect orders only as well as telephone/email support and of course our mail order service.
Whilst we recognise that this time of year is usually extremely busy with footfall at the shop, we sadly are not able to offer this during the current government restrictions. So to counter act this we have decided to offer FREE SHIPPING on all mail orders over the value of just £75.00 from November 2nd through to December 31st.
In order to be able to keep open our store several changes have needed to be made, some will likely only be temporary, some may be here longer or even indefinitely, so that we can serve our customers efficiently, safely and protect our workforce at the same time all whilst observing social distancing and health guidelines...
*The first change is how orders will now be handled in store. ALL orders for the immediate future will need to be placed either by telephone or online via our website BEFORE COLLECTION, for mail order, this is all as per normal, but this also includes all orders from the shop too, EVERYTHING will need to be "Click and Collect" before you come down, either by phone or via our website, our point of sale has been removed from the front of the store and our staff have no way of checking if an item is available or booking any out of stock, so please do not ask them to..
*If there is something you do not need that you have ordered, we can remove this from your package before you leave and issue a refund if you have pre-paid or deduct from your total if you are paying in store, if there is something else you require, you will need to do another order either with a mobile device or by telephone and we will prepare this order separately for you as quickly as we can.
* Orders can be either paid for by card or cash in store at the time of collection or can be pre-paid on our website at time of ordering as you prefer, for ALL pre-paid orders, the customer will need to bring with them one form of valid photo ID showing your address AND the payment card used to make the payment with, without these our staff will not be able to release your order sadly.
* Only one customer will be allowed in the store at a time, our browsing area has been closed off and our counter has been fitted with protective screens for the safety of both customers and staff alike. Hand Sanitiser will be readily available as you come in and our NHS provided check in is there for all to scan, may we request that ALL customers are required to use these both please once you enter and as you leave. All counter areas, door handles and surfaces will be cleaned thoroughly throughout each day at regular intervals. Face masks MUST be worn at all times.
*Opening Hours for "Click and Collect" orders - you will be able to collect your orders on Mondays through Friday. Our hours will remain the same - 10am - 5:30pm Mon, Tues, Weds and Fri and our late night 7pm on a Thurs.
* If there is already a customer in the store when you arrive, please wait patiently outside for your turn, we have floor markings to denote the safe distances to keep apart and a separate marking for customers as they leave the store also. If the weather prevents you from standing outside, please wait in your car and call the store (01923 816636) and advise them you are outside and they will call you once it is your turn to come in , everyone will be served in sequence.
* Due to the layout of our premises, it is impossible for us to have our entire compliment of staff in work at any one time under the new guidelines, so in order to serve our customers as best as we can, all phone calls and emails will for now still be dealt with remotely off site by some of our staff as they have been for the past 8 months or so, this is for order queries, stock enquiries, technical advice, telephone orders etc, please DO NOT go to the store for anything other than to "Click and Collect" an order you have already placed and our limited staff there will handle your orders for you. We regret that sadly we won't be able to allow normal walk in or browsing at this time or be able to take in any models for repairs, warranties or tuning at this time.
So, we understand it is all far from ideal, but equally it is also far better than we have been able to do since March and we look forward to seeing many of our customers again face to face, even if it is only for a brief visit to collect an order, we guess for now this will be the "new normal". We do hope you have all stayed fit and well throughout this all so far and that any impact on you or your families has been minimal if at all..
